Mi sono sempre domandata se lavorare nella redazione di una rivista di moda sia davvero uguale a come si vede nelle serie tv o al cinema. Di esempi ce ne sono stati parecchi: primo fra tutti la puntata di Sex & the City "A Vogue idea" in cui Carrie inzia una tribolata collaborazione con Vogue America.
I've always wondered if working for a fashion magazine was exactly as showed on Tv series and movies. There have been lots of examples: first of all the Sex & the city episode, "A Vogue idea" where Carrie starts a complicated collaboration with Vogue America.

Poi c'è stato IL film; "Il diavolo veste Prada". Look favolosi e sarcasmo a gogò ispirati al mondo di Anna Wintour. E ultimo in ordine di tempo "Gossip Girl". Questa volta tocca a Blair e a Dan cimentarsi come stagisti per W Magazine nell'episodio "Damien Darko", trasmesso in America pochi giorni fa.
Then there's been THE movie; "The devil wears Prada". Fantastic looks and sarcasm a go-go, inspired by Anna Wintour's world. And chronologically latest, "Gossip Girl". This time is the Blair and Dan's turn to be fashion interns for W magazine in the episode "Damien Darko", screened in USA just few day ago.

Da qui è nato l'eterno dilemma. Gli addetti ai lavori giurano che le cose non stanno proprio così: niente girare su tacchi stratosferici tutto il giorno, niente capi-redattori stronzi a livelli astronomici e (sigh! sigh!) niente abiti e accessori gratis. E allora??? Il mito potrà anche essere stato sfatato ma il mio sogno resta intatto...
From these situations comes the eternal dilemma. Fashion insiders assure this is not the reality: nothing wearing high-heels all the day long, no bitchy editors and (sigh! sigh!) nada free clothes and accesories. So??? The myth can be debunk, but my dream is still unbroken...
