CID Gallantry Awards is an initiative from Sony Entertainment Television to promote and felicitate acts against society. The 12 year old KID, thriller shown on Sony took a step forward when it announced CID Gallantry Awards Tuesday afternoon. Sony COO NP Singh said they decided to take the CID a step forward because they thought it shows not only entertain viewers and attracted good numbers, but also had a social conscience.
